Anne's new room

Last post I talked about Anne's Big Moving Out. Now I will show you some pics of Saturday, when we moved all her stuff to Nijmegen and made her room liveable. When we first arrived there we were all a bit shocked about how small her room is, her bed didn't even fit in it! Luckily we found a solution!

At first it was one big chaos, but then my sister and my father went to Ikea (Viva Ikea!!) to buy a table and chairs and a bunk-bed (that really was a terrific solution, for her bed didn't fit in her room because then the kitchen cupboard couldn't open!) And my mom and I cleaned everything and put things together. The room is small, but everything fits quite well now.
As you may have noticed, my sister tried to have everything black, white and red. Her plates and cups are red-white dotted and her towels are too, just like the bunk-bed, the pillows on the chairs, her kitchen-stuff and the fruit bowl! The room isn't finsished yet, so I'm very curious to see how my sis is going to make this room her home!

So, what do you think? You can do a lot with so little space, can't you?

Moving out

Today was a busy day! You may not know it yet, but the reason my sister hasn't posted very often is because she graduated from highschool and now she's going to move out!
_
So today we've packed her stuff (it's a lot! And she can't take all her shoes with her!) and tomorrow we'll take it all to Nijmegen! That's right, she's moving from Friesland to Nijmegen to go to university! Here are some pictures, to give you an idea of the chaos she's caused:

Trend Report: Lace-up heels

You may have noticed, last spring I bought really great lace-up heels. And now they're everywhere! I absolutely love this new trend: tough heels with laces and sometimes with fake sheep's pelt! I like the heels without it, but I also really like thjem with sheep's pelt: looks nice ànd it's warm!
_
This style is tough, but sexy and I've selected the best heels I could find on internet:

I really like the heels called Avalanche and Tracker, but sadly (not really ;) ) I already have lace-up heels (i've written my own on it)! Which one do you like? Or don't you like this trend at all?

The final shoot in Germany, It was fun shooting it and the location was amazing! I almost never wear skirts, but this one's new, I bought it in Münster, and I simply love it! The skirt is also a bit more body-con than I'm used to, so I combined it with a lose top so that the outfit didn't become too stiff. I love the zippers in the skirt, it gives it just that little bit extra! Also the color is perfect, again a bit military. Just a fun fact: The bag I found in one of our old play-boxes with disguising-clothes! And, do you like this look?

This is my second shoot in Germany. I love this outfit, it's one of my favourites! I like the lose, light top with the belt to emphasise my waist. The short where perfect for the hot weather! I chose not to wear jewellery, because I wanted this to be a casual, simple outfit (and I didn't have that much jewellery with me to Germany ;) ).

I've done this shoot in Germany, on our campingsite, so I couldn't post it earlier. This is my military-look. I bought the jacket and the owl necklace in Germany this holiday (I simply fell in love with the owl!). The short I cropped myself, because I didn't like the previous length. Do you like this outfit? I'm very curious to hear what you think of it!

Trend Report: Military-festival look

I simply love the military-festival look! To me, this is thé summer-trend of 2010! I just love the casual way of dressing with military aspects, but still feminime with shorts.
_
With shorts, a casual top, an army jacket and beautiful accesoires you're ready to go! I've found some nice military and festival items on the two webshops I think are the best on internet: Asos.com and hm.com
